Wallpaper - Farm Family

Created by Krystal Adams, our Farm Family wallpaper brings an endearing, painterly charm to the wall with its close-up portrait of a curious young calf. The design captures expressive, wide dark eyes, soft caramel and cream coat tones, and broad, visible brushwork that gives the impression of a painted canvas. In the background, muted sky blues, soft greens, and grassy meadow shades balance the warm ochre and tan tones of the subject. Printed to your exact dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers feature a subtle physical structure in the paper that complements painterly artwork while keeping installation straightforward.

In the room

Because of the calf's large scale and direct, centered gaze, this wall mural works exceptionally well as a focal point on an accent wall. We love the idea of placing it on an uninterrupted wall in a children's bedroom, nursery, or playroom, where the playful character creates a friendly, welcoming presence. In an open country kitchen, breakfast nook, or casual dining area, giving this design a clear wall section behind low benches or dining seating lets the portrait stand out without competing with taller cabinetry.

Styling it

To let the expressive portrait lead the room, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean and grounded. Unfinished or lightly oiled natural woods like pine or oak sit comfortably alongside the rustic, pastoral mood of the artwork. Simple painted shaker pieces or vintage farmhouse furniture in soft off-white or muted sage also blend effortlessly, letting the warm caramel tones of the cow remain the primary focus.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on warm caramel, honey brown, and creamy beige, framed by soft pasture greens and a pale, chalky sky blue. For surrounding walls and trim, warm neutrals such as cream, oatmeal, and soft taupe create a seamless, cohesive background. If you want a subtle contrast, soft moss green or a muted sky blue drawn from the landscape backdrop will tie the whole space together naturally.
