Wallpaper - Winter Joy II

Designed by Cheryl Warrick, our Winter Joy II wallpaper brings a warm, festive typographic charm to the wall with the playful phrase "Let it Snow". Each cutout letterform features its own distinct graphic pattern and color, combining cheerful shades of cherry red, soft pink, teal, and olive green against a deeply textured, dark speckled backdrop. Scattered white starbursts add a whimsical winter sparkle to the composition. Printed to order on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our mural wallpapers bring an expressive focal point to seasonal or year-round spaces.

In the room

Because of its bold typography and strong graphic composition, we see this wall mural working especially well as an accent wall in a living room, dining room, hallway, or children's bedroom. In a living room or family space, placing the design on a feature wall behind a sofa creates an inviting, storybook atmosphere. For an entryway or mudroom, the high contrast between the dark background and colorful lettering immediately establishes a spirited, welcoming tone as soon as you step inside.

The large, centered text composition benefits from an uninterrupted wall section where the full phrase can be appreciated without being split or heavily obscured by tall bookcases or bulky wardrobes. Low furniture, such as a credenza, bench, or media console, sits comfortably beneath the lettering while letting the artwork remain the clear visual anchor of the space.

Styling it

When styling around such a vibrant, characterful design, we recommend letting the wallpaper lead the room's visual energy. Clean-lined furniture with simple silhouettes prevents the space from feeling overly busy and gives the expressive lettering space to stand out.

To create a cohesive feel, pick up one or two of the accent tones from the letters in your room accents. A muted green throw blanket, a blush pink cushion, or subtle cherry red ceramics will echo the motif without overwhelming the room. For furniture finishes, warm mid-toned woods or matte painted surfaces in soft off-white or charcoal complement the illustrated quality of the artwork beautifully.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is built on a rich, speckled charcoal-black base layered with cherry red, candy pink, soft teal, olive green, and crisp white.

When choosing paint colors for surrounding walls, soft warm whites or pale chalky greys provide a quiet, balanced backdrop that allows the dark mural to pop. If you prefer a moodier, more enveloping space, you can paint adjacent walls in a deep charcoal or slate tone drawn directly from the wallpaper's background. For trim and cabinetry, a muted sage or soft terracotta creates a harmonious dialogue with the patterned letters.
