Wallpaper - Agate Nebula II

Our Agate Nebula II wallpaper brings fluid layers of vibrant cobalt, cerulean, deep indigo, and soft misty grey across the wall in an expressive abstract composition. Created by June Erica Vess, the design captures the visual character of liquid ink washes and mineral blooms drifting across a textured canvas. We particularly like how the deep, concentrated ink pools balance against airy, diluted washes, creating an organic sense of movement and visual depth. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of the flowing, dynamic composition and bold saturation, we think this design works especially well as a focal point on an uninterrupted wall in a living room, bedroom, or dedicated home office. In a living room, placing it behind a sofa gives the fluid blues space to spread out, anchoring the seating zone without feeling rigid.

In a bedroom, using this mural wallpaper behind a low headboard lets the softer, lighter washes at the top provide an open, airy backdrop, while the richer indigo pools ground the lower part of the wall. If you have an entryway or dining area that needs clear visual identity, this pattern provides enough artistic presence to transform the space while keeping an open, painterly feel.

Styling it

When styling a room around our Agate Nebula II design, we recommend letting the expressive watercolor-like movement take the visual lead. Clean-lined contemporary furniture in warm wood tones, such as walnut or natural oak, creates a grounded organic contrast against the cool blue hues.

For surrounding textiles and upholstery, choosing simple, unpatterned fabrics in off-white, light grey, or deep navy allows the wallpaper to remain the primary statement without competing patterns. Warm metallic accents in brushed brass or matte black hardware provide a sharp, modern edge that balances the soft, fluid gradients of the print.

Colour combinations

The palette within our wallpaper is built around an expressive spectrum of blues, ranging from deep midnight indigo and rich cobalt to bright cerulean, sky blue, and soft smoky grey with delicate charcoal accents.

When choosing colors for adjacent walls, trim, and large furniture, we suggest pairing this design with:

• Crisp white or soft chalky grey on adjoining walls to enhance the clean, open feeling of the lighter washes.
• Deep navy or charcoal grey for trim, baseboards, or an accent armchair to echo the darkest ink pools.
• Warm neutral tones like sand or warm stone across rugs and upholstery to balance the cool ocean and mineral tones.
