Wallpaper - Chill

Created by Kate Jarvik Birch, our Chill wallpaper brings an expressive, painted-looking still life into your interior with bold graphic presence. The motif centers on a clear glass filled with sparkling ice water and a fresh lime wedge, casting vivid reflections and a stylized shadow across a bright surface against a deep blue background. What we especially like about this design is the painterly brushwork and confident dark line work, capturing the bubbly refraction of glass and citrus with energetic charm. Made to measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it creates a striking focal point with vibrant character.

In the room

This wall mural works exceptionally well as an accent wall in a kitchen, dining room, or home bar area where its lively food and drink theme feels naturally at home. Because the motif features a large, singular focal illustration with distinct color blocking and expressive shadows, we suggest placing it on an uninterrupted wall where the full composition can be enjoyed without heavy visual overlap. In an open-plan dining space or living area, it anchors the setting with bold visual personality.

Styling it

We would keep the surrounding decor relatively clean and modern to let the artwork take center stage. Furniture with simple silhouettes and painted or warm wood surfaces creates an appealing balance against the bold composition. You can introduce smooth glassware or understated ceramic tableware to echo the still life theme without cluttering the room.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a vivid palette of rich cerulean and cobalt blues, crisp lime green, chartreuse, pale aqua, and deep graphite outlines. For adjacent painted walls and woodwork, we recommend clean off-whites, pale sky blue, or muted neutral tones to keep the room bright and balanced. If you want a more saturated look, echoing the deep marine blue or crisp citrus green on surrounding accents ties the space together effortlessly.
