Wallpaper - Into the Woods Trees II

Our Into the Woods Trees II wallpaper by Emily Adams presents a single, beautifully rendered evergreen tree set against an aged, warm neutral parchment background. What we especially like about this mural wallpaper is the balance between botanical precision and painterly softness, with textured charcoal and deep sepia brushwork defining the pine needles and branches. The subtle vintage visual patina around the edges gives the design an archival, illustrated character that brings a quiet focal point to an accent wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure and PVC-free with a subtle physical paper structure.

In the room

Because of its central vertical motif and generous negative space, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an uninterrupted feature wall where the entire tree silhouette can breathe. In a living room behind a low sofa or in a bedroom centered behind a headboard, the generous margins ensure the tree remains prominent without feeling visually crowded. The soft, neutral backdrop also makes it an appealing option for an entryway or a home office, where you might want a natural, artistic presence that does not overwhelm smaller wall sections.

Styling it

To complement the archival, botanical character of this design, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings understated and grounded in natural materials. Low-profile furniture in dark stained wood or rich walnut pairs naturally with the deep tones of the tree trunk and branches, echoing the graphic weight of the illustration. Textured, undyed textiles like coarse linen or flatweave wool help enhance the quiet, vintage tone of the paper without competing with its delicate brushwork.

Colour combinations

The design itself centers around deep charcoal, muted forest sepia, and warm parchment cream. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or trim, off-whites with warm undertones, soft putty, and gentle stone shades will keep the atmosphere seamless and light. If you prefer more contrast, grounding accents in deep charcoal or dark slate green will pull out the deepest brushstrokes from the tree foliage.
