Wallpaper - Plaster Port I

Created by June Erica Vess, our Plaster Port I wallpaper brings together soft washes of dusty rose, warm blush, and muted sand, grounded by deep earthy olive and berry-toned accents. The composition carries an abstract, weathered visual character reminiscent of tinted plaster layers and painterly pigment stains on textured canvas. Subtle gradients blend gentle terracotta warmth with cool parchment undertones, giving the surface an atmospheric, artistic depth. Made-to-measure and PVC-free, this design brings a serene yet expressive focal point to any interior wall.

In the room

We see this design working especially well across a main bedroom wall behind a headboard or along a dining room wall where its painterly nuances can be appreciated up close. In an open-plan living room, using this mural wallpaper across a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the gentle clouding and richer pigment clusters to unfold naturally without feeling crowded. The softly diffused color transitions also adapt comfortably to smaller spaces, such as an entryway or home office, where the abstract composition adds depth without imposing rigid geometric lines.

Styling it

Because the artwork has a delicate, textured visual presence, we like pairing it with furniture that shares a grounded, organic feel. Warm mid-tone woods like walnut or stained oak create a balanced contrast against the dusty pink and pale sand background. Upholstery in soft bouclé, natural woven linen, or muted charcoal helps anchor the deeper olive and wine tones in the lower section of the print. Keeping surrounding decorative accessories sculptural and understated lets the wallpaper remain the central artistic element of the space.

Colour combinations

The artwork centers on a palette of soft rose, warm beige, and faded blush, balanced by darker accents of mossy olive green and deep cranberry red. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or trim, off-whites with warm undertones, soft taupe, or chalky beige keep the overall setting harmonious and light. If you want a more grounded look in the room, picking up on the darker olive or deep berry tones through velvet cushions, painted cabinetry, or statement dining chairs creates a cohesive visual thread.
