Wallpaper - Highland Bloom l

Our Highland Bloom I wallpaper, created with designer Nikita Jariwala, translates the quiet beauty of rolling highland landscapes into a painterly, atmospheric wall mural. Layered horizontal brushstrokes capture mist drifting through sweeping valleys, where soft heather purples meet muted sage greens, warm sandy taupes, and a distant mountain peak in dusty slate blue. What we particularly appreciate about this design is its gentle, panoramic rhythm, which brings depth and visual softness to a room without overwhelming it with high contrast. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because of its expansive horizontal composition and landscape depth, we see this design working beautifully on a wide, uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining area. In a bedroom, placing it behind the headboard creates a serene backdrop that gently anchors the space while maintaining an open, airy feeling. In an open-plan living room or study, the soft transitions between the mist, hills, and sky allow the wallpaper to add colour and atmosphere without competing with everyday furniture.

Styling it

The soft, brushed character of the landscape pairs naturally with interiors that celebrate simple silhouettes and balanced textures.

• Ground the room with warm, natural wood finishes such as light oak or ash, which echo the earthy taupe tones in the foreground of the landscape.
• Choose quiet, solid-colour upholstery and simple linen textiles in oatmeal, chalk white, or muted moss green to keep the focus on the wall mural.
• Balance the painterly softness of the artwork with clean-lined furniture and minimal decor, avoiding overly busy patterns nearby.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is built around soft lavender heather, earthy sage and moss greens, warm biscuit beige, and cool slate blue. To create a cohesive surrounding scheme, we recommend pulling the paler stone and warm off-white tones onto adjacent walls and architectural trim. For accent pieces or larger upholstered furniture, deep moss green or muted slate blue connects directly with the landscape's natural depth while maintaining an elegant, grounded atmosphere.
