Wallpaper - Gentle Garden II

Created by Cheryl Warrick, our Gentle Garden II wallpaper presents a symmetrical floral motif set against subtle vertical painterly stripes. Two distinct pairs of stylised pink blossoms rise along a central pale green stem, framed by deep green oak-like leaves and small delicate buds. The dark navy textured background grounds the composition, giving the floral silhouettes a distinct graphic clarity. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings a modern folk-art feel to walls that call for both bold shape and calm symmetry.

In the room

We love how the vertical structure of this design draws the eye upward, making it a natural fit for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights. The centered, upright composition gives it great presence on an accent wall, such as behind a bed in a bedroom or on an entryway wall where the graphic balance makes an immediate impression. In a home office or living room, we suggest placing it on a wall that receives steady natural light, which highlights the soft contrast between the textured navy backdrop and the lighter pink flower petals.

Styling it

The folk-art quality and clean symmetry of the floral motif pair naturally with simple, warm interior choices. We would combine this wallpaper with mid-tone or warm wood furniture, such as walnut or warm birch, which complements the deep navy ground without competing with the pink tones. Keep large upholstery and textiles in solid, woven textures rather than complex prints so the floral artwork remains the primary visual focus of the space.

Colour combinations

The palette centers on warm and rose pinks, forest green, pale sage, and a deep navy base. When selecting colours for adjoining painted walls, woodwork, or built-in cabinetry, pulling out the deep navy creates a cosy, unified atmosphere. For a lighter contrast, a soft muted sage or an off-white with warm undertones keeps the surrounding room feeling open and fresh while echoing the stem and leaf details.
