Wallpaper - Drifting Leaves l

In our Drifting Leaves I wallpaper, designed by Nikita Jariwala, soft botanical branches sweep across an airy, painted light-blue backdrop. We particularly like how the slender boughs create an open, drifting rhythm, carrying leaves rendered in gentle tones of beige, warm taupe, soft sage, muted lavender, and vibrant emerald green. Visible brushstroke textures give the leaves a hand-painted character that feels light and fluid across the wall. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and are completely PVC-free, with a subtle structure in the paper that brings quiet depth to the motif.

In the room

The open spacing and floating branches make this design feel calm and spacious, which works particularly well across wider walls in a living room, bedroom, or guest room. Because the composition has plenty of negative space around the branches, it brings pattern into the room without overwhelming the surrounding space. On a wall behind a bed or low sofa, the upper branches can stretch upward naturally, giving the wall height and a gentle sense of movement. In a hallway or dining area, the light-blue backdrop creates a soft, tranquil atmosphere that remains airy under both natural daylight and warm evening lamps.

Styling it

We would keep the surrounding decor relatively quiet to complement the airy quality of the artwork. Furniture in light natural wood or soft painted finishes pairs easily with the gentle beige and taupe shades in the branches, while upholstery in off-white, oat, or muted neutral fabrics keeps the focus on the drifting motif. If you want to introduce subtle contrast, small decorative accents in deeper emerald or soft lavender can echo the accent leaves within the pattern.

Colour combinations

The foundation of the design rests on a serene sky-blue ground, layered with warm sand, beige, taupe, soft sage, and expressive accents of lavender and bright emerald green. For adjacent painted walls and woodwork, soft off-whites, warm greys, or pale sand tones create a balanced and coherent flow. If you prefer a richer setting, bringing in deeper sage greens or muted slate tones on surrounding trim or larger furniture pieces creates a grounding frame around the lighter wallpaper.
