Wallpaper - Pomegranate Glow

Created by Kate Jarvik Birch, our Pomegranate Glow wallpaper brings a bold, painterly still life to the wall. The composition centres on a whole, glossy red pomegranate alongside an open slice revealing deep ruby seeds, set against a rich two-toned blue ground. We especially like the visible brushstrokes and bright highlights that give the fruit its luminous, painted-looking character. As one of our custom made wall murals, it is produced to your exact dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang while creating a striking focal point.

In the room

Because of its large-scale subject and rich contrast between warm reds and deep teal blues, we see this mural wallpaper working particularly well on a dedicated feature wall. In a dining room or kitchen dining space, placing it on the wall beside a dining table lets the still life motif create an inviting, grounded atmosphere. The strong graphic presence of the fruit also suits an entryway or living room where you want the artwork to anchor the room rather than blend into the background. Giving the design an uninterrupted wall section ensures the full composition and dramatic shadows remain clearly visible.

Styling it

To let the expressive brushwork and vivid palette stand out, we suggest pairing this design with quiet, solid furnishings. Darker wood tones such as walnut or stained oak complement the deep shadow tones beneath the fruit, while matte black or deep navy accents echo the background. If you are introducing textiles, simple woven cushions or curtains in unpatterned indigo, terracotta, or off-white help balance the energy of the mural without competing for visual attention.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built around a vibrant range of crimson, ruby, and garnet reds, balanced by dark indigo, cerulean blue, and soft cream inside the fruit slice. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, we recommend echoing the deep blue from the upper backdrop to create a moody, cohesive envelope around the room. Alternatively, a warm off-white or soft linen shade on adjacent walls keeps the space feeling bright and lets the red tones of the wallpaper provide the primary burst of colour.
