Wallpaper - Tabletop I

Our Tabletop I wallpaper, created with Crimson Cottage, brings the charm of a sunlit breakfast table into the home through a painterly still life. We love the rich, impasto brushstroke appearance and the balance between soft pastel tones and deep accent notes. A spread of fresh raspberries, warm croissants, soft-boiled eggs, and dark coffee rests across a pale blue tablecloth against a delicate pink backdrop. Printed as made-to-measure wall murals on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an inviting, artistic atmosphere to any dining or living space.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well in a dining room, breakfast nook, or an eat-in kitchen area where its still-life subject naturally complements the space. Because the composition has the presence of a large painted scene, giving it a prominent, uninterrupted wall allows the full tabletop setting and its play of morning shadows to unfold comfortably. In an open-plan kitchen and dining area, our mural wallpapers create an engaging focal point behind a dining table, establishing a relaxed, café-inspired backdrop for everyday meals and gathering with friends.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we prefer keeping the surrounding furniture relatively calm and understated so the painted artwork remains the visual hero.

Natural mid-toned or pale blonde wood dining furniture pairs effortlessly with the warm tones of the pastry and morning sunlight in the painting. Simple ceramic dinnerware, clear glassware, and unfussy linen table linens continue the relaxed, painterly mood without competing with the detailed composition on the wall. For lighting, a low-hanging pendant light with a warm, diffused glow helps echo the cozy, morning atmosphere captured in the artwork.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on soft periwinkle blue, pale blush pink, and creamy off-white, grounded by rich raspberry red, deep coffee brown, and golden pastry tones.

To create a cohesive scheme, you can draw from the warm off-white and soft cream tones for adjacent walls, trim, and painted cabinetry. For a slightly more distinctive interior, soft dusty blues or muted blush shades work beautifully to echo the background and tablecloth, while small accents in warm terracotta, deep berry, or dark wood anchor the lighter pastel tones across the room.
