Wallpaper - My Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Our My Pumpkin Pie Recipe wallpaper, created by Farida Zaman, brings a warm, illustrated recipe straight onto the wall with painted charm and handwritten character. The design features a whole pumpkin pie on a soft blue stand alongside a single served slice, paired with a complete ingredient list and handwritten baking instructions in classic script. Rich pumpkin orange, golden-baked crust tones, and soft sky-blue dishware stand out against a clean off-white background, giving the composition a relaxed, personal kitchen feel. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers an inviting focal point that is simple and straightforward to hang.

In the room

We love seeing this design bring personality to a kitchen or dining area, where culinary themes naturally belong. Because the motif combines graphic handwritten text with painted illustration, it works exceptionally well on an accent wall beside a breakfast nook, above a low sideboard, or along an open dining space. On a wall that remains mostly uninterrupted by tall cabinets, the complete recipe and illustrations have the breathing space to be read and enjoyed as a full story. In a pantry, utility space, or casual dining corner, wall murals like this introduce a cheerful, illustrative element without overpowering the surrounding room.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we suggest leaning into relaxed, casual kitchen and dining settings that echo its warm illustrative mood:

• Pair the warm orange and crust tones with natural wood furniture, such as a honey-toned pine or light ash dining table, which reinforces the home-baked warmth of the artwork.
• Introduce ceramic tableware or kitchen accessories in soft blue or glazed off-white to subtly pick up on the pie stand and dessert plate in the motif.
• Keep surrounding wall decor minimal, allowing the combination of handwritten script and painted artwork to serve as the main decorative statement in the room.

Colour combinations

The motif is anchored by warm pumpkin orange, baked golden brown, soft blue, and crisp black lettering set against an off-white ground. To complement these shades, we recommend using soft off-white, light cream, or gentle parchment tones on adjacent walls and trim. If you want to introduce contrasting accents in painted chairs, kitchen cabinetry, or ceramics, a soft dusty blue or muted cornflower shade will tie directly into the illustrated dishware. For a deeper, grounding touch, warm walnut or rich biscuit tones in flooring and furniture will balance the brighter orange tones beautifully.
