Wallpaper - Cut Paper Garden I

Created by June Erica Vess, our Cut Paper Garden I wallpaper explores abstract floral forms through clean, organic silhouettes. Large, soft-edged petal and leaf shapes in pale cream float across a warm, sand-toned background, creating a calm and balanced botanical composition with a cut-paper feel. The low contrast between the light shapes and the earthy backdrop gives the design a quiet, understated presence on the wall. Made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions, our mural wallpapers are PVC-free and printed on paper with a subtle physical structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its generous scale and restrained contrast, we find this design works beautifully across larger, uninterrupted wall surfaces. In a bedroom behind a low headboard or across a primary living room wall, the large botanical cutouts create an artistic focal point without visual clutter. The soft sand and cream palette also suits a quiet home office or a dining area where you want pattern that feels architectural rather than busy. For smaller rooms or entryways, using it on a single feature wall lets the oversized abstract shapes make an impact while keeping the overall atmosphere light and open.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this wallpaper with interiors that share its focus on clean lines and natural warmth. Low-profile contemporary furniture in warm wood tones, such as pale oak or deeper walnut, complements the organic curves of the motif. Simple upholstered seating in textured cream fabrics, matte ceramic decor, and unadorned architectural lighting keep the focus on the artwork. Keeping surrounding surfaces relatively calm allows the bold silhouette composition to stand out naturally as the centerpiece of the space.

Colour combinations

The design itself is grounded in a restrained palette of pale cream, warm sand, and soft taupe. To build a cohesive room around it, we suggest continuing these neutral tones across adjacent painted walls using warm off-whites, chalky stone, or light beige. If you prefer a subtle accent, muted terracotta, olive green, or touches of blackened bronze in lighting and hardware provide a grounded, sophisticated contrast that complements the earthy background without competing with it.
