Wallpaper - Timber Clad, Oak

Our Timber Clad, Oak wallpaper brings the visual warmth and character of natural vertical wood cladding to your interior. The design features rich, vertical grain patterns with subtle knots and authentic variations in tone, moving from warm honey undertones to deeper, weathered brown shades. Its panelled composition creates a calm, grounding rhythm across the wall, giving the impression of architectural woodwork. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

We love how this design anchors a space with its earthy, natural feel. In an open-plan living room or dining area, it works exceptionally well as an accent wall behind a dining table or sofa, bringing structure and warmth without visually overpowering the room. For a bedroom, placing this mural wallpaper behind the bed creates a cosy, enveloping focal point reminiscent of a modern cabin or Scandinavian retreat.

The vertical movement of the timber planks also draws the eye upward, making it a great option for spaces with standard or lower ceilings. Because the pattern relies on continuous, natural wood grain rather than busy decorative figures, it can also comfortably wrap around multiple walls in a study or home office, creating a quiet and grounded working atmosphere.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we recommend balancing the visual weight of the wood grain with clean-lined furniture and tactile textiles:

• Choose simple furniture silhouettes in neutral upholstery, matte black metal, or painted finishes to let the vertical grain remain the primary feature.
• Layer soft textiles such as coarse linen curtains, wool throws, or a low-pile boucle rug in off-white or oat tones to soften the architectural lines of the panels.
• Introduce understated ceramic lamps or focused accent lighting to catch the tonal depth of the printed grain during the evening.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built from a palette of warm oak, soft biscuit tones, muted umber, and charcoal-brown grain accents.

To keep the room feeling balanced and open, we suggest pairing it with warm off-whites, soft parchment, or light stone tones on adjacent painted walls and woodwork. If you prefer a richer, more moody interior, deep charcoal, forest green, or espresso brown on trims and accent pieces will complement the darker grain details beautifully.
