Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf

Our Kasumi Garden, Tea Leaf wallpaper, designed by Marta Cortese, presents a rich botanical landscape inspired by classic garden scenes. Set against a deep tea green background with soft floating clouds and tall bamboo stalks, the composition gathers an abundance of delicate flowers, including ivory blooms, soft blush peonies, lilies, and irises. The lower edge features stylized scalloped mist formations that give the scenery a layered, tranquil depth. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the floral detail and stylized cloud borders are concentrated along the lower half of the design while tall bamboo stalks and misty skies rise above, we see this wall mural working wonderfully across a main living room or bedroom wall. In a bedroom, placing a low headboard against the bottom section allows the delicate flower blossoms and bamboo canes to rise naturally behind the bed, framing the space without feeling crowded.

In a dining area or wide hallway, we would give our wallpaper an uninterrupted wall where the full panoramic flow of the garden can unfold. The muted olive and deep green backdrop brings a calm, grounding presence to spaces with ample natural daylight, while warmer evening lighting draws out the soft cream and golden tones in the floral petals.

Styling it

When styling around Kasumi Garden, we like keeping the larger furniture pieces understated to let the intricate botanical work take center stage. Low-profile seating or minimalist wooden sideboards in warm oak, walnut, or muted dark tones echo the organic shapes without competing with the floral detail.

For textiles, simple weaves in unbleached cotton, taupe, or soft ecru complement the creamy flowers across the mural. Accents in antique bronze or muted stoneware pick up the earthier undertones of the tea leaf backdrop, creating a balanced and cohesive setting.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is anchored by deep tea green, olive, and soft moss tones in the foliage and background, balanced by ivory, warm cream, blush, and subtle pale blue accents across the floral petals.

To build a harmonious palette around the room, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with surrounding walls or woodwork in soft warm neutrals, bone white, or muted linen. For a more enveloping, dramatic look, deep sage or rich olive on adjacent trim and cabinetry connects directly with the darkest tones in the garden landscape.
