Wallpaper - Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss

Our Kasumi Garden, Forest Moss wallpaper, created by designer Marta Cortese, presents an atmospheric botanical mural landscape set against a deep, misty olive backdrop. Dense clusters of cream chrysanthemums, delicate lilies, and soft floral blooms rise through stylized cloud-like terrain, balanced by tall, slender bamboo foliage that reaches into the upper composition. The subtle tonal shifts in the dark moss ground give the panoramic design a calm, painted depth. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

Because the dense floral detail is concentrated primarily in the lower and middle sections of the composition, we see this mural wallpaper working especially well on an uninterrupted wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Placing it behind a low-profile sofa, a headboard, or a dining credenza allows the lush blossoms to frame your furniture naturally while letting the taller bamboo and hazy green backdrop bring visual height to the space. The darker, enveloped atmosphere makes it well suited to rooms where you want a grounded, intimate feel, particularly in spaces with balanced daylight or layered ambient evening lamps that pick up the creamy details in the flowers.

Styling it

To let the intricate botanical work take center stage, we would pair this wallpaper with quiet, understated furnishings rather than competing patterns.

Darker wood pieces, such as walnut or stained ash, echo the deep tones of the background and reinforce the grounded, organic mood of the artwork. Upholstery in soft ecru, oatmeal, or muted sage will draw out the subtle variations within the petals and leaves without overwhelming the wall. Matte ceramic accents and simple, unadorned light fixtures in brushed brass or dark bronze also complement the painted character of the scenery nicely.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a palette of deep forest moss green, charcoal-tinted shadows, soft cream, warm ivory, and gentle muted blushes in the foreground petals.

When choosing paint for adjoining walls, woodwork, or ceiling trim, we recommend pulling directly from these tones:

• Off-white or chalky cream to match the brightest floral highlights and keep the room open.
• Soft olive or muted moss green for a cohesive, wrapped look across neighboring walls.
• Deep charcoal or blackened green on skirting boards and window frames for a defined, architectural contrast.
